Michael (Mike )Vaccaro served as a New Rochelle, New York, law enforcement officer from 2005 to 2023. In his final six years of service, Michael Vaccaro joined the Criminal Investigation Division as a special investigations detective. He handled complex, multi-jurisdictional operations that required partnering with state law enforcement. He also coordinated investigations with the Drug Enforcement Agency and FBI. He undertook case-specific observations and surveillance work while conducting eavesdropping and search warrants.
